red mail Jane/Jean Osborne c 1800 Ochiltree
I'm trying to trace the date of Jane Osborne's birth or christening plus parents, according to the 1871 Census it states she was from Ochiltree and was 70 years old, which makes her year of birth 1800/1801. Prior Census records seen only state Ayrshire. She married Hugh McCulloch on the 30th of June 1826 in Sorn and had seven children (Hugh, Robert, Alexander, James, George, Margaret and James). Both James died young, and three (Hugh, Alexander and George) went to Canada. Not sure what happened to Robert and I'm descended from Margaret. Tried Scotland's People and Familysearch. Census 1871 has a Grand-daughter Helen Rankine (13), not sure where she comes in yet, Margaret married John Cameron in 1863 at Brigend, Sorn. Any help or leads would be appreciated.
