Looking for information on my gg grandfather, Andrew Patrick Moore, who was probably born around 1831 in either Antrim or Armagh. He left Ireland in the 1840s, would have still been young, so probably left with his parents. He arrived in Saint John New Brunswick Canada, where he remained for the rest of his life. He married, Bridget Flynn, in Saint John in 1858 so was definitely in Canada before that.

Iam looking to find some information on the Brown Family . It is believed that John Brown was a high sheriff of this county before his death in 1801. It is believed that he had a large family of 12 children and a very good relationship with the Lyons family whom they named their daughter SARAH LYONS BROWN. William Gilchrist was born 1858 County Antrim, in 1881 he married Agnes Mullen in Greenock, county of Refree Scotland, they had 7 daughters. Between 1881 & 1891 the family moved to West Ham, Essex England where they stayed until William died in 1931, Agnes died 1935. On their Wedding certificate it stated William was a widow, I haven't been able to find any other information about their lives in County Antrim Ireland. The first 5 daughters Jennie, Mary, Agnes, Maria and Margaret were born in Scotland, Elizabeth (Lizzie) was born in County Antrim Ireland and my Grandmother Annie was born in West Ham, Essex. In 1901 I believe he is living at 18 Henderson Avenue Clifton Ward with Mary A Murray and is listed on Census return as William Murray adopted son. He joined the Irish Guards in 1908 as William John Davidson . On 1911 census he is living at 40 Henderson Avenue with Mary Ann Murray and is recorded as William John Davidson nephew Ex soldier Irish Guards. I believe he married before joining the army to serve in 1st World war and never returned to Ireland.does anyone know if this is correct?

Hi, My gggfather is from Ireland and I want to find any of his relatives. I think his father was named John. They moved to the USA. But I don't have a time line to follow. I have traced them first to South Carolina where he married his first wife Margaret Walker. He then moved to Tennessee and then moved to Mississippi and married his second wife named Mary F Ross. They had several children between the 2 wives. He settled in Mississippi and that is where he died. Please please Help. I want to know who and where he and I came from. I am researching the McGonnell family. Alexander McGonnell b. 1796 in Antrim became a coastguard and moved to Kent. He maried a Mary Richardson who was possibly from the same part of Ireland. Alexander's father was a John McGonnell. Alexander and Mary had three sons, Nicholas, John and Alexander who all joined the Navy. If anyone has any information, please let me know.

Alexander Getty Miller b.1865 Antrim son of William Miller and Sarah Duncan. He married Rachel Fleming b.1866 Antrim dau of Malcolm Fleming and Jane Crawford. My mother was Annie Jude b 02/07/1941 - 5 Ballyoran Rd, Portadown, County Antrim, Belfast. Her siblings: Elizabeth b circa 1933 & Frederick Jnr. b circa 1939. Her parents: Frederick Snr. b 06/12/1896 (Ireland?) & Anne Richardson Mellon b 14/11/1900 (Newcastle-upon-Tyne) married in Ireland 26/08/1931 @ Falls Rd. Methodist Church. Fred - senior died in a Railway accident in Belfast 05/05/1948. Can you make a connection as I have hit a brick wall. My mother Annie died suddenly in Perth, Scotland 24/12/1984 aged 43yrs when I was only 23yrs and had no interest in my roots. I hope this "rattles a few bones." Regards, Anne

My gt gt grandfather was William Mussen Campbell, born in 1810 in Magheragall, co. Antrim. His father was James Campbell. Mussen was widely used as a middle name in the family thereafter, but I haven't been able to find out where the name came from. I suspect that there may have been a marriage between a Mr. Campbell and a Miss Mussen at some point. Therefore if you know anything about Mussens and Campbells in Co.
