red mail Shaw surname
My grandmother, Ann Shaw was sent to Canada in the year 1916. Not sure exact date, but know she travelled to Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was pregnant with my mother. Considering the date etc., the family was not very excited about this so sent her to Canada but do not know where she landed ,or where she had my mother. She eventually married a man with the surname Dunn. My mother had a cousin who lived in NI, and believe she was in Belfast or Londonerry. The cousin married a policeman and had a son named Raymond. I am looking for info. About my mothers family...Shaw or relatives who may still live in or near grandmothers birth place. Anything would help and be appreciated.

She was the daughter of Jane ROBINSON and John WILSON. According to ROBINSON family notes taken around 1980-1985, they had at least one child, a son John MURRAY. In 1959 Lizzie was still alive. Lizzie's brother Joseph WILSON - my father - (b.1904) emigrated to Canada in 1924. Another brother John WILSON (b.1911) was killed in a workplace accident (year unknown) Also do not know if he was married or had a family. A sister Margaret(Madge) WILSON (b.1915) was a widow BELL and living in Glenarm. Of another sister Isabella WILSON (b.1899) there is no mention.
