John Donald, born 1857 Monymusk (on marriage certificate) to William Donald and Annie Fraser. They could have connections with Chapel of Garioch. Immigrated to Australia 1877 and married a fellow immigrant from same ship in same year, 1877. Any information would be appreciated.

Am looking for information regarding this particular farm and the families of Laing and Reid who lived there from 1700 to 1900 James Laing, may have been a tenant, leaving farm to his son Robert, who in turn left it to his son in law James Reid who left it to his son Alexander . While i have some family information , I am curious to see if I can find more , James married Ann Scot(t), Robert married Mary Hill, their daughter Mary Laing married James Reid - most are buried at St Ninan's, most records were found at Chapel of Garioch Monymusk BUT surely there is more to be found and hopefully some one just might be able to turn me in the right direction

My great grandmother Barbara Stewart was born in Monymusk in 1851. She was one of 12 sons and daughters of George and Jessie Stewart. George was born in Cairnie about 1820 and Jessie was born in Cluny about the same time. George was a farmer. The last census mention of the family was in 1871. My great grandmother ended up living and bringing up a family of 10 surviving children in Walthamstow.
