Am researching the REID family from Alford / Tullynessle and Forbes 1700s to mid 1800s, then Aberdeen. Robert REID married Janet LESLIE about 1785 at Forbes and they lived at 'Bithnie' on the Don River. Children: Margaret (1786), George (1787 - married Margaret CLARK 1822), Benjamin (1791 - married Margaret Milne 1832) and Lilias (1793 - married Cawfield WADE in 1837. Robert Reid possibly born Alford / Bridge of Alford. All enquiries welcome!
