He is buried in Pinelawn Cemetery in Houston, Texas County, Missouri. His parents were Roy Raymond Shelton and Dorothy Maverine Coats. Roy was born in Miller County, Missouri on April 2, 1900 and died June 18, 1970 at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Texas County, Missouri and is buried at Pinelawn Cemetery in Houston, Texas County, Missouri. His parents were William Right Shelton and Julia Ann Wall. Dorothy was born in Texas County, Missouri on November 4, 1904 and died November 23, 2005 at Licking Park Manor, Licking, Texas County, Missouri and is buried at Pinelawn Cemetery in Houston, Texas County, Missouri. Her parents were Alburd Coats and Mary Alice Burch. Roy and Dorothy (Coats) Shelton had three children: LIVING (female), Vancil Winford (male), and LIVING (female).
