My grandfather Samuel Mousley/Moseley was born Nov. 18, 1823 in England. He came to America (New York) Aug. 14, 1849 on the ship Niagara. He married Martha Jane Greatorex in New Jersey, USA on June 27 1856. I know nothing about him or his family before coming to America and I am hoping someone can help me. Henry Lowe and his wife Suaannah left Denton in Lancashire in the mid 1860s for Newark (Essex County).He had quite a number of children and several were still alive and in Newark at the turn of the century. He was joined by his brother John and wife about 1867. Both were felt hat makers. John and his family retrurned to England in the 1890s; Henry and his family remained in Newark. John Lowe was my 2xG.G.father. Can anyone help......Art.
