green mail Kissinger/ Davies
I am trying to link a family member to the following. A Samuel Davies emigrated from Wales to the USA, some time before 1847. His/her descendant was Jeannette Kissinger, nee Davies born 1892 in Aberdeen, Brown County, South Dakota and died in Hennepin, Minneaopolis in 1886. Her parents were Ivor and Winifred Davies (nee Griffith). Both Winifred, 1861, and Ivor, 1847, were born in Racine, Wisconsin. Both Ivor's parents were born in Wales whilst Winifred's father was born in England and her mother in New York. I am trying to work backwards from that family to mine! I have 2 Davies branches and there is a Samuel in both! Kind Regards. Carol
red mail Zue McClary Death Information
Zue McClary is my 2nd great Grand Aunt. She was born 9 June 1878 in Minneapolis Minnesota. Her parents were Reverend Thomas McClary and Mariah Elizabeth ( Lizzie) Fowble. Her children were Donald, Thora and Olga. Zue was a woman with an entrepreurial spirit, and booked midway attractions throughout the US and Abroad. She travelled extensively. While I have a great deal of information about her life, records, newpaper articles the date and place of her death remain an elusive mystery despite my best efforts. Zue owned property in Woodstock Ontario, so it is possible she may have died there, in the Staes or even abroad with her many travels. The last info I have on her is from her sister Corinne Godard's obituary in 1952. Any help in locating information on Zue's death would be greatly aprpeciated. Sarah
