Family Research
My grandfather,ROBERT BOAK and my grandmother were immigrants from Dinnington, Northumberland, England. They arrived at Ellis Island in June,1903 and the little info I have is that he (grandfather) was killed on the railways around 1911-12.He was probably a coal-miner. They lived in Brownsville where my father George Boak was born in 1908. Their were two other sons -John and William. I would like to know what exactly my grandfathers' job was, and if he has a grave there.

Hello, I live in Ashington,Northumberland and have been researching my great-uncle,Ivatt Wright for quite a while now.I've learned a lot on the internet, and have visited Tyne-Cot military cemetery twice where he is commemorated to the missing. His military service from enlisting in 1914 to his death in 1917 I would like to know; such as what he did,or was he ever wounded etc.My grandfather Charles Wright and my mother Ethel Violet Wright all came from Hexham, and I have photos of them, but only a rough photo of Ivatt when he joined up.I wonder if there's any distant relative who might help? ~ Regards - John.
