red mail Edward Sergeantson/Sergiantstone of Scosthrop Kirkby Malham
I am seeking information on the family of Edward Sergeantson/Sergiantstone who died in Scosthrop, Kirkby Malham, Yorkshire in 1600. Also mentioned in the will were Roger Iveson and Robert Carlill as trustees. Land specifically mentioned includes Highlings in Scosthrop Field, headland at Garth, Hardrigge, and Aldmorland. red mail Edmondson. Broughton in Craven Broughton
Edmondson, Richard. He married Rebecca the daughter of John Wilkinson of Marton in Craven, in 1773 when Richard was about 25/30. Richard and Rebecca had 3 sons Richard, William and Thomas. I know lots about Richard from the date of his marriage. He farmed the Tempest's farm on the "Broughton Hall Estate" and got involved in water supplies for the Leeds/liverpool Canal, but nothing about him prior to 1773. Who his parents were or where he came from, though I have a suspition he was not born in Broughton or Marton. Help or advice welcome.

I am trying to trace John O'neill b. Ireland 1855. I know he was working as a railway labourer in 1881 when he married Hannah Alice Talbot Armstrong (b1859 in Bowness Westmoreland). The family were living at Conistone Cold in 1901. Children were Rose Mary, William, Joseph, Bernard and Alice Gertrude who married James Burrows in 1908 in Skipton. James and Alice lived at Eastgate in 1928 when one of the sons Harry Burrows drowned aged 2 in the canal. Other Burrows children were Mary, Thomas, Anthony, Richard, Ann and others. I would love to hear from anyone who has any info on either the O'neills or the Burrows. I think James Burrows father was called Richard Burrows.
