Trying to trace relatives of Archibald Davis (1900-1979) and Gordon Alfred Davis (1898-1987) both born in Crayford,Kent and who died in WSM. Archibald's only child was born in Tabriz,Persia in 1932 and died in 1994 in Hackney,London. Are there any surviving children od Gordon ?? Mike.

George Cottle (shoe and bootmaker) b.1826 Bleadon married Eliza b. 1822 Huntspill. They had George b.1858, Maria b.1865, Eliza born 1860 all at Weston Super Mare. Maria married Joseph Dart b.1859 Dawlish, Devon and they had Mary Jane b.1890 Frederick b.1886 Gertrude b.1894 Evelyn b.1899 all born Exeter and they all lived in Exeter. Maria's father George was living with them by 1901 and her mother was dead. George b.1858 (also a bootmaker) married Sarah and they had Florence b.1873 Percy b.1885 Beatrice b.1886 Ernest b.1892 Charles b.1893 Albert b.1898 Ellen b.1900 all born Newington and lived in Trafalgar Street 1881 to at least till early 1900s. Have further details of desendants of Florence b.1873.

Has anyone researched the family of John Griffin Hayman, a dental surgeon living in Bristol 1841/51/61 and then Weston-Super-Mare 1881 ? I believe John G. Hayman's mother to have been Eliza Griffin, born Devonport 1807, whose family I am also descended from. Would like to exchange info - thanks - Michael.

red mail Fletcher, Henry Thomas (1871-1972)
Arrived in NZ on the sailing ship "Lady Beaverton" in 1872. (Not sure of ship name as I can't find positive reference). His father, Thomas Henry, worked for the Salvation Army in NZ for nearly 50 years while Henry Custodian of the YWCA Hall and Latimer Hall in Christchurch NZ for at least 30 years from approx 1920-1950. Henry married a Mary Jane Brown (born 1878 in England. Does anyone have any information on the Henry Fletcher, his siblings, his ancestors or Mary Jane Brown?
