My mother Kerstin Lewis gave birth to me in Stockholm, Sweden in april 1958. She has now told me that my real fathers name was Albert Townsend and that they were neibourghs in Rugsby 1957. He worked as a car mechanic and at that time lived with his parents. He came to Sweden and saw me as a child. If he still is alive he should be about 70. My name is Maria

Emily married Alfred James Rathbone b. 18/06/1882 (son of Andrew Rathbone b. 28/02/1857 and Hannah Hill b. 30/08/1856).

Did anyone know Betty Aston who lived at Railway Terrace Rugby around the mid 1950s with her parents, Laurence and Jessie. Laurence was from Norway and had lost his leg in the first world war. He was a linguist. Jessie's family of origin were Irish. Betty was my mother but she died when I was 3. My mother had a son before her marriage to my father, also named Laurence. I'd love to hear from anyone who knew the family. Betty was one of five. I'd love to hear from anyone who might have known the family.
