Born Stretton under Fosse Warwickshire 1836. Believe to have been in the army probably 1851ish - anyone with possible links I would be grateful. His brother Jesse b 1846 fought for the American Civil War 1861 - 1865. Parents were William Edwards b 1799 and Sophia Rogers (my gt.gt.grandparents).

I am looking for information on David & Janie Hawkins who were living in Rugby with their 4yr old daughter Edna at the time of the 1901 Census. I believe David Hawkins to be my paternal grandfather. I think Edna had brothers, one of whom was probably my father who was born either late 1903 or 1904. I have not been able to find any information on my father and would appreciate hearing from anyone who might be related to this family.

My G G Grandparents were Thomas and Margaret Lenton. They had 14 children in Rugby and lived for many years in Wood Street and surrounding area. Bertha Lenton was my maternal G Grandmother, their eldest child. The other names are:- Margaret Matilda, Thomas Emmanuel, William Henry, Ernest Richard and Hetty Floretta (twins), Daisy Annie, Arthur Herbert Joseph, Beatrice Adelaide, Effie Florris, Frederick Lorrine, Horace Neville, Leslie and Grace Olive.
