I am looking for the Arnsby family of Oakham particularly John Arnsby born 1757 and his daughter Rhoda born 1789, also John's wife Mary Tinson and her family and also John's father also called John Arnsby's whose wife Mary Palmer's family. I know the Arnsby's are sometimes spelt Arnesby or Armsby instead.

HELP - I am looking for my 5 x grandparents. William Clarke and Ruth Kitchen immigrated to Tasmania, Australia from Lincolnshire, England in 1853 via the ship "Northumberland". The ship departed Birkenhead, Liverpool on the 23 nov 1852 and arrived at Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. One daughter, Sarah, died of Hydrocephalus during the voyage. William was brought out by the Mersey Coal Works as a Farm Labourer earning 2 pound 10 shillings a week. They settled at Sherwood before moving to Torquay in 1859 then to Northdown in 1862. Any information on their parents or siblings would be greatly appreciated! Cheers ;)

Searching for information on Harriett Fancourt (b c1849) married John lynn Grahame (b 1839 in Westmorland) in Sept 1875 at Hackney, London. Her Father or brother was a Royal Postillion to Queen Victoria. John was a School teacher and went to Oxford, in the 1880's they emmigrated to New Zealand via India? they had seven children before moving to Sydney, Australia.

I'm looking for a Christopher Smith who lived in Oakham and was 3 in 1871. He went on to marry an Elizabeth Baines. He was in service in 1901 in Africa and I have a photo of him in an arny unifrom, we think he was in the Boer war. Melanie

Henry Gregg was born in oakham c. 1833. His father was William Gregg. Henry moved to the North East where he married Isabella Bushby in 1855. After her death in Darlington DUR in 1868 he married Jane Burton of Oakham in 1871. I would appreciate any information re this family.
