WHITTERICK/WHITRED & variants of North Elmham & Reymerston
Margaret WHITTERICK was baptised in 1792 at North Elmham. She was the 3rd child of John WHITTERICK and his wife Margaret (probably nee RYE), who married in 1780; he was of Reymerston, she of North Elmham. In 1818 Margaret married John THAIN in Bedingham, where they farmed a small acreage and raised a large family, and I believe one of her siblings may have emigrated to the USA. I should be delighted to make contact with any other descendant of this family.

red mail Tombling, Dawson and Able families
I have very recently (Oct.2012) found that I have some ancestors on my paternal line in the North Elmham area with surnames of Tombling, Dawson and Able families (some also from Bilney, Brisley and Beetley areas). I had gone to look for another line of ancestors (Brown and Fox families) from this area this summer and actually stayed in North Elmham for a week to look at Whissonsett, Tittleshall, Sculthorpe villages/churches. Now I find another line comes from around that area in my latest searches on line. Would like to contact anyone with surnames that match. Thanks. Jane
