Is this the connection I am looking for? The 1841 census has at The Bridge Inn Cregbythen Ann Brown publican aged 50 (a widow?) and 4 children Mary, George, Thomas and Middleton.
I am wondering if Anns husband could have been Middleton Brown, and that they were the parents of my great great grandfather John Brown who was born in about 1822 and who went to London and when he married Emma Tucker named his father as Middleton Brown Innkeeper. He also gave his place of birth in the census as Vainor.
My great grandfather was given the name John Middleton Brown.
Is anyone connected to this family please? Posted: 2008, Member logged in: 2021
