red mail Keene family, licensed victuallers
My great great grandfather Alfred Tyson Keen had two younger siblings born 1831 Marylebone. They were Ruth Russell Chappell Keene and Rueben Penfold Chapell Keene. They wre the two youngest in the family. What was the origin of these extra names? Rueben died aged 14, Ruth lived to a good age, but never married, She spent some years with her sister Augusta (Darvell) and also stayed with her guardian Charles Strutton in Berkshire. Latterly she lived in Croydon and then in Ealing. She is described in one census as lighterman, so must have inherited some part of a business from her guardian, although he had had children of his own. Has anyone a photo or any details of this amazing woman? Many thanks.

red mail Tanner family of Marylebone
Looking for Mary Ann Tanner and her family. Her father was Thomas, possibly Thomas James and her mother was Mary Ann, but unknown maiden name. Mary Ann was born in Marylebone in 1819, and married James Edmund Medhurst. There is a possible connection with the surname Scott. Does anyone know who Thomas' parents were? Or his wife's maiden name?

red mail Frank Coombs/Charlotte Jones
I have been unable to find their marriage in the indexes. Searched for years 1879-1892. He was born in Fovant and is still there in 1881 on census with his parents. She was born in Marylebone, St. John. First child Madeline was born in 1890, in Chelsea. Charlotte's middle names are Mary Ann. Think I may have found her birth certificate for 1855 but can't be sure due to lack of marriage certificate and therefore not knowing her father's name. She is not with her parents on the 1881 census. Have checked all of marriages for Frank Coombs or Coombes in Wiltshire so think they either married in Marylebone or Paddington. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
