red mail Researching the Evans family.
Thomas Evans was born in Cwmteuddwr Feb.1 or 2, 1839. I am searching for local records or lore which might identyfy his parents. It is possible that his mother was of the Pugh family.
red mail Morgan at Bell Inn
My great-grandmother's brother, Lewis Morgan, and his wife Margaret Norbury, lived here according to the 1891 Census, along with their children. I believe Lewis died in 1900 or 1901, and in the 1901 Census Margaret and the children were no longer living at Bell Inn. They had quite a few children: George James, Rose (b. 1892), Emily Margaret, Elizabeth, Thomas Walter, Muriel Margery (called Daisy), Annie Olwen and some others who died young. I would like to find out more about them. I do know Emily married Francis Watkins in 1914 and lived in or near Manchester in 1925.
red mail Evans - Margaret and Ellen
In the 1901 Census, my great-grandmother Margaret Evans (a widow by then) and my grandmother, Ellen, were living here. I've been trying to locate more of the family - I believe all the other children (5 older than my grandmother) were living elsewhere.
