Or WHALLEY. Thomas WHALEY of Winterburn, parish of Gargrave married Lydia FERRAND of Bingley, and was buried at Gargrave in 1715. He was the sole heir to his Uncle Roger WHALEY of Winterburn who had died there 1676. Thomas & Lydia had 10 children, but the only descendants living today, are through his daughter Abigail (1685-1716), the first wife of Christopher INMAN (1693-1737) of Bewerley near Pateley Bridge.
