red mail John Walter Jackson
Looking for any family connection to John Walter Jackson (born approx 1919) who married Elizabeth Cook (Nee Rolph, previously Causer) and lived at 58 Harwood Road in Fulham at the time they married in 1954. Elizabeth possibly had a son John and/or a daughter Jean with her. It is possible these children were put into care homes but we can't be sure at this stage. Grateful for any help received. Thank you Laura

red mail Re:Rolph/Cook
We are looking for any connection to Jean M Rolph /Cook born 1941 or John Walter Cook born Sept 1944 in Fulham. We believe at least two and possibly all of their half siblings (under the surname Rolph) were placed at the Nazareth House Orphanage in Hammersmith at the beginning of or just prior to the start of WW2. If you have any information at all please do get in touch. Their mother was Elizabeth (Ethel) Causer/Rolph/Cook and father believed to be Walter James Cook (my great grandfather). Many thanks for any information.

Trying to find as much as I can about Jesse Ridgley He had a timber merchants corner of Rylston Rd & St Thomas Rd, now St Thomas Way . He also had the Pub,which he called The Californian, 1&2 St Thomas Road. It was, I think later renamed, possibly Duke of Edinburgh. Also George Albert Keen, who, altho' an illegitimate became a man of some substance, both as a florist & Councillor. Both of the above were my Great Grandparents They wete both signicant in the 2nd half of the 19th century.

red mail Re:John Walter Cook or Jean Rolph or Ethel Cook (late Rolph/formerly Causer)
Further to my previous post, we have established that Elizabeth E (Ethel) Rolph was the Ethel my grandfather remembers his dad having a relationship with (her previous married name was Rolph and her maiden name Causer, we are not sure if she actually married my great grandfather but called herself Elizabeth Ethel Cook on their sons birth certificate. The toddler he remembers would have been Jean M Rolph and the baby she was expecting was John Walter Cook, born Sept 1944. We are aware she had 4 older daughters who were evacuated to Australia during the war from her previous marriage. We would love to make contact with either Jean or John as John and possibly Jean would be my grandfathers half siblings. If anyone knows of any of the people mentioned above or of a way we can find out how to contact them, any information would be most appreciated. Many thanks
