Growte(Grout) Family
I am trying to find out if my earliest ancestor namely a Richard Growte(Grout) born in this parish in 1578 had other family members(ie brothers or sisters) and also his parentage. Am trying to create my tree further back if possible and further lineage entries. They were yeoman farmers of their own land. Does anyone have any information that would help me in this research or is related to the Grout dynasty. He was christened in St Mary the Virgin church in this parish.

I am trying to trace the tree of James Kemp who married Emma Green and lived in Clavering. They ran the Axe & Compasses from 1890. James' father was William Kemp b. 1818 and his mother was Hannah Chipperfield b. 1822. James had a sister Lucy and a brother William who played for the cricket team. Any information would be appreciated.

Looking for details on Thomas Negus, born between 1781-86 (based on death cert and census details). Married Jane Peters of Melbourn, Cambridgeshire in 1803 (parish records) and lived in Melbourn until his death in 1857 (registered Royston). Would love verifiable information. There is at least one other Thomas Negus born Clavering during this decade - mine is the older one. Thanks for any help.
