red mail Brown, Scobie
Isabella Scobie Brown (my granma) lived with her parents John & Jane Brown at Burnside Cottage Kippen for about 15yrs or more from about 1895ish. John was a coachman. Isabella had an illegitimate child in 1904 named Isabella Scobie Brown. She first married Angus Gillies in 1905 and they had a daughter Agnes. They lived at 3rds Cottage Buchlyvie. Angus died in 1907 and she then ended up in Neilston Renfrewshire. When my granma got married for a second time in 1909 she left her illegitimate daughter to be brought up by John & Jane and the 1911 census states that they were living in Buchlyvie. By 1914 they had moved to Grangemouth. Does anyone know anything about them?? Thank you Jennifer
