John Hodgson was born in Highry, Durham abt 1796, he married Elizabeth Gardener on 28 July 1821 in Stanhope, Durham. In 1841 and 1851 census they were living in Auckland St Andrew (South Church). John is my GGGGGrandfather. He was a coal miner and immigrated to USA after the 1851 census but before his death in a mining accident in Pennsylvania in 1855. The eldest son, Edward (my GGGGrandfather), was born in 1826 (possibly Grain, Durham) and moved to the USA after the 1841 census. Other children were James, Mary, John, Jane, and Elizabeth. Any infomation on the family would be appreciated.

My grandfather born in Bishop Aukland December 24, 1907. Mother is Elizabeth Kate Chapman, I don't know if Chapman was when she was married when Herbert was born (nee) or if it was after. Looking for any information. I don't know his father's name, he may have died. Elizabeth Kate remarried and had more children. Looking for is father's name, and decendants.

I am looking for information to the above surnames. Michael Glennen b.C1831 lived with his wife Elizabeth Wright b. C1832 in Auckland, Durham. They had 3 children Mary Catherine b. 1863, Elizabeth b. 1870 and John Edward b. 1936. Mary Catherine went on to marry Thomas Beckett on the 30th Sept 1895 at St Joseph's RC church and John Edward married Esther Warner. Any help would be much appreciated.
