Looking for family or decendants of Alexander Wilson and Anne Milne, who were married in the Parish of Enzie, Banffshire on 30th December 1869 and then moved to Ross-shire, to the Alness area where they lived and worked. Alexander was a farm manager on Dalmore Farm for 14 years. They had 11 children .... John, Alexander, George, William, Jean, Patrick, James, Barbara, joseph, Robert and Catherine. James. S. Wilson had his own builders buisiness in Alness and was a stallwart of the Wester Church at Rosskeen until he died in 1951. I would love to hear from any family with connections...

Looking for connection to Isabella Munro born c1807 who is thought to be from the parish Rosskein, Dalmore on Invergordon. Bell was an assisted passenger to NSW, Aus in 1839 and listed her parents as Donald Munro, farmer of Dornoch and Christian McKenzie. Any information on the Munro/McKenzies would be appreciated.

In particular, MUNRO, David of Katewell, b.1615, whose son Andrew b.1640 emigrated to the USA in 1654, and whose heirs remained in Virginia State for decades. Unable to trace Andrew's father David's wife, who might provide the Scotland-USA link through other children of hers. Many thanks.
