I am trying to find out any details of my great grandfather Thomas Sollis 1870-1958 who was born in North Tawton, Devon & his wife Annie Tredinnick 1877-1968. Annie was born in Cornwall. They are both buried in Morthoe Cemetery. If anyone is related or is researching the same, would love to hear from you.

Seeking information on William Bidgood born in the Devon area and convicted at the Devon Assizes, England on the 16th March 1801 and sentenced to transportation to Australia for life. Transported on 23rd September 1802 on the Glatton. Any information on the Bidgood family around 1770 to 1780 appreciated as he is most likely to be born around that time. Thankyou.

Hex have managed to trace my g-g-g grandfather from Bridgwater to Ilsington with connections in Ideford seems to have been born there in ~1797, name of William Hex, a farrier by trade and married to Eliza (b Falmouth, Cornwall) .. though these events may have taken place after he left the parish. Also Thomas Hex of Chudleigh, landlord; wondering if he is also related!
