William Pell Of West Derby  Aug 2008 (142549)

Williams occupation was a Railway Carter. I know that they where still living there in 1911 ie, at 10 Canova St.Wife Harriet died in 1913. Have checked all the BMD's through to 1942 with no luck. Any suggestions

Sharrock of West Derby  Sep 2006 (91348)
Hi all. I am seeking any information on MARGARET SHARROCK who gave birth to my Grandfather ALFRED SHARROCK at 5 Leander Street, West Derby in October 1894. The name of the father was not recorded and so I am guessing she was a single mum (a No, No in those days) and probably young. She gave ALFRED away to WILLIAM and MARY MATTHEWS of Cecil Street, West Derby who brought him up. The only real MARGARET SHARROCK I can find who would fit the bill married WILLIAM PITT in 1897 and gave her age as 21 (i.e. born in 1876) and this would have made her 18 when ALFRED was born. Anyone with any further information, please get in contact.
