Looking for information about Henry Clark, Bookmaker,(b.circa 1828) shown as living at 1 Weymouth Buildings, Walcot in the 1871 census. Married to Emma (?????)(b. circa 1834)they had 9 children, including Adelaide (b.1865 - d.1910)who went on to marry Frederick Newman (b.1865). Any help greatfully appreciated..

George ROPER, born Charmouth 1783, married in 1807 Elizabeth ANDREWS at St.Swithuns, Walcot. Their first child, Charles was born in 1809 at 3 Guinea Lane, Walcot. Later children were William (1810), Elizabeth (1812), Mary Ann (1814), Jane(1816), George (1819), Martha (1820) Sarah (1822) and George (1825) The family were still living there in 1841 George and his sons were carpenters and builders. They moved to London in 1866. Although several of the children married, the only spouse whose nameI know is Tryphene FREETHE, I would be happy to exchange information with anyone researching these families.
