I am looking for information about John Murphy who was born in Ireland (Not sure where) in 1841 and came to England where he married Mary Helen Fitzpatrick (born 1846 in Liverpool ?). They were married circa 1866. They later lived in Glasgow. I know Murphy is a common Irish name, but any help on where John came from or anything to do with his family, would be appreciated.

I am looking for information about my g.g.g grandfather Rowland Griffiths. I know he had twin sons, William Pownall and John Rowland, born in Feb 1852. A copy of their birth certificate shows their mother as Mary Pownall, born Liverpool. I can't find a marriage between Rowland and Mary so am hoping someone will have any further information. Thanks

I have four generations of Clark from my grandfather, James Alexander Clark who were stonemasons in Liverpool. James was married in 1889 to Elizabeth (Lizzie/Eliza)Calcutt from Bloxham, Oxon. They had nine kids, including my father Henry. Any info on the family, who lived in and around Scotland Road, Brunswick Street and Anglesea Road, or on stonemasons in Liverpool would be great.
