My gt-g'parents, William McINTYRE & Elizabeth Galt JOHNSTONE married at 8 East Netherton St Kilmarnock 22 Aug 1873. He was a coalminer, she a bonnet knitter, both of Glencairn Square. Does anyone know name/location of coal pits near there where he may have been working?

My husband's grandfather was Crawford Fullerton Glover who emigrated to Sydney from New Zealand in the early 1900s. His father went to the goldfields in NZ. I have traced another Crawford Fullerton Glover who was born in Kilmarnock, Scotland in 1824.Does anyone know who went to NZ to produce my husband's line and when and the relationship to the C.F. Glover born 1824?
