Pendrigh family  May 2007 (113026)
I am looking for information about the Pendrigh family, who lived in Haddington, Humbie and surrounding area in the 1700s and early 1800s. John Pendrigh married Elspeth Lowman and had five children: John (b 1771), David (b 1773) , George (b 1776) (all born in Humbie), James (born in Stow Galashiels in 1764) and Margaret (born in Yester Dunbar in 1768).

Anyone have info on the Brown family who lived at Quarry Pits in the 1940's.Toms Brown and his wife Barbara had a son named William born mid 1930s. Tom's parents were Rebecca(msStewart)and William Brown. James Newton, Merchant at Haddington & Janet Hughes, Daughter of David Hughes, Horsehirer in Pleasance, gave up their Names for Proclamation of Banns Matrimonial, 24th March, 1787. He was later an Innkeeper in Haddington. Looking for Descendants still living in Haddington.
