I am looking for any information about the Collins Family - Sidney Percy Collins and Ada Louisa Collins who lived at 73 Morland Road, Croydon in the 1940's. Sidney and Ada are deceased but I am looking for information regarding any of their children or Grand children.

I am trying to find out information on my family, although I now live in Australia I was born in Croydon. My family is father Peter Knife who married Eileen Marchant in 1953 his father was William John Buller Knife and he married Rosina Private in approx 1925. My father also has a brother Michael John, and he emigrated to New Zealand in 1953 with my fathers parents I know that my grandfateher had several brothers but I cannot locate any of their descendants.
My paternal grandfather is William Reddington who was originally from the Midlands and would have been born around the beginning of the 20th century, give or take a few years. He ran a business in the Croydon/Sutton area at the end of the second world war. It seems that he emigrated to Canada around 1946/1947. I'm looking for any information I can on him.

Looking for the family of George DAVIES bapt 1 May 1870, Welshpool, Montgomeryshire. Parents: Charles DAVIES born 1840 Welshpool and Mary JONES born 1845 Welshpool. According to his niece Nellie William of Aberystwyth, George was taken to London by his mother to become a footman when very young. Later he had his own Grocers and Off Licence in Croydon. He married Anne Louise born Westminster and had several children: a. George Davies b. Gwendoline Davies c. Clifford Davies d. Rose Davies e. Marjorie Davies In the 1901 Census he is at 195 St James Road, Croydon as a wines and spirits merchant. Any information gratefully received
L Young Limited of North End and Skinners of South End (101230)
I am looking for decendants of Levi Young and Elizabeth (nee Raphley) who married at Croydon in 1858.They had William (in 1862) Rose (1868) and Jessie (1872. Levi founded L Young Ltd, a very large furniture and removal business in about the 1860s-1870s. William and his own son W. G Young carried on the business after Levi's death in 1928. Levi's nephew, Gladstone Skinner, had co-incidentally set up a Furniture and removal business in South End, Croydon that was still going in the 1970s. Any information about either business or families much appreciated.
