Ogden Camp
I am trying to find out if there was a camp called Ogden Camp (Army or P.O.W.) in Yorkshire during World War 11. My Mother-in-Law worked there in the Naafi during the war. I am not sure if she has the correct name of the camp.

Looking for information about Simeon Yewdall (born 1786) who married Margaret Hodgson b. 1788(possibly from Settle). Know they married and settled in Lancashire, but possibly came from Bradford originally. Have their descendants but not births & ancestors.

Shipley Family of Yorkshire
I am wondering if anyone out there would have any info on a Thomas Shipley born circa 1720?. He was married to an Elizabeth Hart around 1740 in the East Hartley or Hull area of Yorkshire. They had a son also named Thomas born abt 1741 He was in turn married to another Elizabeth (last name unknown). I have some info on the son Thomas and his family cos they sailed to Canada around 1772/73. I need info on Thomas senior, parents, wedding, etc. I'd appreciate any info people can give me, I'm now trying to gather info on my mothers side. Thanks ...Gary

I am seeking any information about a Jonas Hinchcliffe/Hinchcliff, born about 1804 in Yorkshire and who arrived in New South Wales, Australia in 1830 on the ship "Florentia". He married a Sarah Lamb in Goulburn New South Wales and had four children. They lived in Braidwood, New South Wales. Jonas may have spent some time in Manchester before leaving England. The family also spent time in Majors Creek and Araluen, New South Wales, Australia. Can anyone help me with more information about Jonas please?
