Searching for my Costigan ancestors, Michael Joseph Costigan born c 1833 ? Cashel Tipperary, John Costigan born c 1800 Tipperary, Mary Frances Donoghue born c 1835 ? Cashel Tipperary. Have hit a brick wall and unable to find baptismal/birth records for my ancestors and would appreciate any help! Searching for info on a JOHN & ELLEN Moloney. He was a SOLDIER bc 1830. His son JOHN T MOLONEY bc 1857 Tipperary, Ireland. Assuming son accompanied his parents to Aust with his father's regiment but have no idea which regiment or when they arrived. I am guessing early 1860's.

He is shown on the census as in the Army. He had 4 children Sarah McGrath b 1874, Ada Mcgrath b 1876, Ellen McGrath b 1880, John McGrath b 1884.

I am looking for Edward Meaney born c.1847 in Tipperary. In 1875 he was living in Liverpool, Lancashire,and married a Catherine Ellis of Flintshire, North Wales. He was a coachman in Birkenhead, Cheshire, and sadly died suddenly in 1881 aged 34. He had 6 children Annie c1872, Margaret c1874, Edward John c1875, William Augustus c1878 and twin girls Johanna and Catherine c1880. All I know is that he came from Tipperary and may have had something to do with horses. His father also Edward was a Car Proprietor.

I am interested in anyone having any information on the name BRADY. My mother in laws grandparents on her fathers side fall from irish decent.We have little information on them at the minute. All we know is, they was publicans, from a small village called temple brady (which no longer exists and i cannot find any info on this village) The men was all name joseph john brady and one joseph brady came over to england in the 1880's maybe? and married a welsh lady by the name of elizabeth jones.

I am tracing descendants of Catherine Barry born 1800 in Tipperary. Catherine was a Catholic and came to Australia as a convict after being tried in Cork on the 1st April 1829 for "Robbing Lodgings". It was her second conviction. She was sent to Australia for 7 years on the Asia arriving in Sydney in 1830. Catherine married a veteran soldier, Joseph Holdsworth in Bathurst NSW. They had 4 children. Joseph Cheatham, Robert, Richard and Mary who was my 3xgreat grandmother.
