Gill's of co mayo
Looking for info on the Gill family: Austin Gill b. 1816/20 Wife was Elizabeth b. 1820. One of their sons was Joseph b. 1854. I think they must have left Ireland between 1850 and 1854 and settled in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. Joseph later came down to Plymouth, Devon. Irish records seem sparse and I am looking for a birth for Austin and his marriage to Elizabeth ? It would be nice to find a record of their departure from Ireland and arrival in England. So if there any Gill's in the Staffordshire area out there, with this family in their tree, I'd love to hear from you!
