red mail William James STAGG of Worcester.
Am interested in William James Stagg b1857, Trotshill, Warndon. After his father, John, died his mother Sarah married Thomas Cook. In later census, William took the name of Cook and was recorded as a stone-mason. However he married Alice Turvey in 1893 as William Stagg but in 1901 census had reverted back to Cook. He and Alice had a son, Roland Victor, in 1899, Worcester.
