I am writing a biography on Charles McDonald who was a Head Gardener in both Kilkenny and Dublin Ireland and later of Garden House Stokesley Cleveland North Yorkshire. I am trying to trace any of his family from his marriage to Ellen Summerskill on 3rd May 1863. Children Louise 1866 Alexander 1867 James 1869 John 1872 and Ellen 1879. He died on 16th Jan 1886 the family lived later at Brough ton House, Stokesley. Children James and Ellen moved to America to New Hampshire. I would be most grateful for any information. Thanking you.

Looking for siblings of william george logan, born18 june1913 in inveravon scotland,died 17sept1945 in Khartoum.Think he had several brothers, John gordon logan,Daniel logan and possibly a James (jim) and a Richard (dick).Does anyone recognise these people?

I am looking for info on my ggrandmother Catherine Or Cathrine Donaldson or Donaldine Munro whose parents were Alexander Munro and Isabella Ross she went to Australia sometime in the late 1800s and married Joseph Henry Whitehouse in Sydney they lived in Campbelltown New South wales and had 4 children Joseph Henry 1897 Joseph Alexander 1889, Agnes and Catherine. Looking for any additional information on Man / Mann or Laing. John Man (b. 1756, christened in Forres) came to America in 1811. He was the son of John Man (b. 1715 christened in Alves) who was the son of John Man (b. 1678 christened in Drainie). John Mann (1756) left wife, Jannet Laing (b. 1753 christened in Elgin) behind where she died in Elginin 1831. She was the daughter of William Laing and Elizabeth Douglas.
