red mail Suicide on a London Bridge 1879
I am trying to find information about my ancestor Thomas Watson (b.1811) in Leeds, who according to family oral history committed suicide by hanging himself off London Bridge (or a London bridge perhaps?) in 1879. His widow was Elizabeth Watson (nee Roberts). I am seeking an obituary, or Coronor's Report, or newspaper cuttings. Can anyone help please. Ta

red mail Henderson
Looking for information on my maternal grandmother, Frances (Fan/Fanny) Henderson. (For most of her life, she thought her middle name was "Elizabeth", but late in life found it was registered as "Rebecca".) Her parents were Fred Henderson (Scotland) and Mary Anne Wyatt (Ireland). She had a crippled sister, Jennie, and at least one other who worked in the theatre. Was married twice; first to a man whose last name was "Lewis", and who apparently was an "unsavoury" character. While married to him, she had two daughters: Jennie, who died as a toddler (from a fall?) and Minnie Frances (she eventually dropped the "Minnie"). Mr. Lewis brought Frances and Minnie to Canada when the latter was an infant, about 1907, then abandoned them. Frances eventually married John Greenaway, from which union I descend.
