THOMAS WILSON
I am trying to establish the true identity and early life history of a man calling himself THOMAS WILSON who used 1888 as his year of birth. He is my friend's grandfather. In June 1923 Thomas is shown on his son Eric's birth certificate as living at 23 Wansey Street, with Eric's mother Alice Wilson living at 12 Guilford Street. I have been able to follow most of his history from that point on until his death in 1951, including the birth of his second son Ernest, the family's addresses and Thomas' various jobs, always unskilled, but I do not know who he really was. Alice Wilson (also known as Ruby Alice BROADLEY) was from Hull in Yorkshire and I understand that Thomas also had a strong Yorkshire accent. Alice's early life in Hull has been traced and contact made with descendants from her marriage to Matthew Broadley. It seems likely she left Matthew and their children to start a new life with Thomas. From 1939 Alice and Thomas lived with their boys in Mottingham in Kent and Thomas, along with many of his neighbours, worked as a heavy labourer on a Wharf, but I do not know which one. Any information about Thomas' earlier life would be very much appreciated.

Edward Might Mordan J Gardner
I have found this member of the Gardner family as a witness to the wedding of William John Gardner and Maria Amelia Williams at St Philips Church Clerkenwell on January 12th 1859. I have no other knowledge of the existence of Edward Might Mordan J Gardner who seems likely to be a relative of the bridegroom and would therefore be part of my family tree. Can anyone throw any light on how I might trace this person or have any knowledge about him? My thanks in advance for any help. Roger.
red mail Jan Kemp
Jan Kemp was a Dutch captain who sailed many times from Holland to London with cargo. In 1819 however he brought back "a real English manufactured from England bathing machine " He started this way the tourism in Noordwijk Holland. I like to find out more about the buying or ordering or exporting of bathing machines as I can't find any adverts in the newspaper so maybe curious fox can help me out.
red mail James Ferdinand Kirche married with Louisa Caroline Groux- had daughter Caroline Julia Kirch in London 1830
Hello, James Ferdinand Kirche turns up on his daughters baptism at St Marylebone, Westminster, England 18 Apr 1830 His spouse is listed as Caroline Kirche. At the time of the baptism Caroline Julia the daughter is listed as 17 days old (1 April 1830). James Ferdinand is listed as a servant. Caroline Julia gets married to Ezra Edward twitchett turning up as Caroline Julia Groux Kerche- James Ferdinand accidentally gets listed as Charles because at the time Caroline and Ezra were living together on a Charles Street. Hes now listed as a butler. Its condusing because James and Caroline are not on any census in London and Caroline first turns up on census when shes married to Ezra. She gets married again and does as Caroline Julia Horseman on 28 March 1898. There are no marriages for James Ferdinand Kirsch/ Kirche/ Kerche with anyone and presumably Carolines mothers name was Groux nut again its unclear because she doesnt exist in the records other than her daughters baptism. Any help would be appreciated thank you.
