Williams and Jenkins
Looking for any information about the Welsh ancestry of Thomas Williams born in Wales c 1843 and Mary Ann Jenkins born c 1853. I believe Thomas came to Australia with his parents, William and Mary (unk), and 3 other siblings around 1854. Thomas married married Mary Ann Jenkins in Newcastle Australia in January 1877. Mary Ann was also from Wales and born c 1853. Mary Ann's parents were Thomas Jenkins and Sarah (unk) It seems Mary Ann and her brothers Henry and James came to Australia, most likely in the early 1860s, with their father and possibly after the death of their mother Sarah. Thomas Williams and the Jenkins boys were miners working in the coal mines in Newcastle Australia. Thomas Williams was killed in a mining accident in 1895. His wife Mary Ann lived until 1934. They had nine children.

red mail Carol Ann James (or Bolt)
I am trying to trace family information for my son-in-law.His mother was born in Three Crosses on 24 March 1938 to Edna Elaine James (a "domestic Servant"). No Father was named and a note was added indicating that she was "adopted" Until her marriage she was known as "Bolt" She married Alun Llewellyn Davies about 1954 and they lived in Swansea. Their son Alun married my daughter. I have obtained a Marriage Certificate which shows that Edna Elaine James married David John Walters (a man 21 years her senior) on 16 July 1942. At this time she was working as a "Munitions Worker". Her father was listed as James James. Any information on this familyBolt will be gratefully received. Thanks Jim
