BUCKLEY John
Married at Leicester in 1819, to Mary FIGG. Then to Wakefield, where 3 children baptised 1821-1824. (James, Elizabeth, Henry). Lived at Thornes, he was a Dyer. (His sons followed this trade in Bradford, Halifax, and Morley.) His wife (widow?) remarried in 1833 to Edward RYCROFT at Wakefield. I believe, therefore, that John died 1824-1833. Where? And who were his parents? Presumably died before 1841 census, so place of origin unknown.
red mail Ridsdale
Baine's Directory and Gazeteer Directory of 1822 list under Merchants: Ridsdales & Johnson of Northgate. It also lists under Miscellany of Trades: from the Talbot and Falcon, Northgate, George Oldroyd agent - Ridsdale and Co's waggons to all North and South destinations on a daily basis. (Carrying freight?) Does anyone have any information about the Ridsdale Company or anyone called Ridsdale in Wakefield in the 1820's?
red mail William Ridsdale Monkhouse, Sarah Monkhouse, and John Monkhouse,
Can anybody help? Greatly appreciated if you can. I am looking for All Saints, Wakefield births for William Ridsdale Monkhouse, Sarah Monkhouse, and John Monkhouse, born between 1822 and 1826 to John and Sarah Monkhouse. Sorry I can't be more specific on birth dates. Kind regards
red mail William Robinson of Wakefield
Any help please with William Robinson had twin daughters Rosamond bap All Saints 11 Oct 1761 and twin sister Mary bap All Saints the next day 12 Oct 1761. Rosamund (Rose or Rosa) married Martin Banks 5 Jun 1786 All Saints, Wakefield, however I have no further info on Mary, either. There are two possible marriages for William Robinson and any number of births and burials and possible connection to Thorne near Wakefield. I am directly descended from this family.
red mail William W Gaunt
I am looking for anyone who has or can help with any information relating to my grandmothers late husband William W Gaunt, they married in Wakefield 1928, my grandmothers maiden name was Brook, first name Ada. William and Ada had many children most of whom have sadly passed away.
Elizabeth C Jones
Elizabeth was born in 1926 possibly in Horbury. Her mothers name was also Jones suggesting that she was not married. I suspect that Elizabeth was adopted so may have acquired a different surname. If I can find any information about her mother it might help me establish whether I have a half sister. My mother was sent to the House of Mercy in Horbury in 1926!
red mail SAYNER Ann

William Glover married Sarah Scott on 3 July 1769 at All Saints, Wakefield. Apart from the marriage details I know that William and Sarah had a son John Glover DOB 1771, in Wakefield I would like to find, if possible, William's date & place of birth and the names of his parents. If anyone has already compiled a tree, any family details would be really helpful.
