red mail Edward Brokensha/Brokenshire
My great-great grandfather was Edward Brokensha. He was born in St Clements area in Truro in 1826 and became a mariner. He married Mary Jane Keast in St Georges church in Truro in 1857 and lived for most of their married lives in Tabernacle Street. They had several children, one of which was my great grandmother Eliza. Their other children were Edward John, Richard Henry, Mary Jane and Elizabeth. I know that Edwards father(also an Edward)was a fisherman who married Nancy Dunn a mariners daughter in 1814. I have managed to trace Nancy's family back a long way but have come up against a brick wall as far as Edward senior is concerned. I would love to hear from anyone who thinks they may be related or has any information about Edward.
