red mail Penna family
Does anyone remember Phillip Penna b. 1901 and died 1978 (reg in Truro). He married my mums cousin in Norfolk in 1938 and they moved to Truro district to live. Contact with my mum was lost after this apart from a couple of letters. They had two sons one born 1940, he became a doctor and praticed in Manchester and died in 1988. Not sure if I can mention his name even though he has died. The other was born 1942. After my mum died we were clearing her house and came across a Prayer book belonging to Phillips wife father, (Ernest George Wright) obviously given to him in WW1. We would love for the Penna family to have it. If anyone can point me in the right direction as to how to find them I would be grateful.

I know a bit about the Henderson family and their son Charles Henderson the Cornish Historian. I would like any information on the families that lived there and any staff that worked there. red mail Henderson
James Henderson, a civil engineer and wife Anna Maria settled in Kenwyn, Truro after travelling the world. James originally came from Aberdeen and Anna Maria from Dublin but by 1861 the family were settled at Kenwyn. His son, Hamilton Gerald was also a civil engineer who travelled and then settled in Kenwyn. I presume both father and son were working for the local mining industry and by the 1901 census they are both noted as 'employer'. Are there any descendants out there who may have further information about the family? Thanks Chris
