red mail Wood, Armstrong.
My 3x greatgrandfather, Thomas Wood born in Torpenhow about 1814,and married Lillice Whorley from Morpeth. My 2x g grandfather was born in Newcastle upon Tyne but at least one brother was born in Plumbland. Can any one help me with information regarding Thomas's parents, we believe his mother may have been Sarah Wood and his father William Armstrong. It is possible that the families came from the Torpenhow area. Any information would be very much appreciated. Many thanks, Denise.

Catharine married William Kennedy in June 1849 in the parish of Aspatria. Catherine & William had children; Christopher, Thomas (b. 1855), George (b. 1857), William (1862), Eunice/Ennis (b. 1861), Margaret Elizabeth (b. 1865) and Jane (about 1871).
