Kellow
Trying to find a connection to my gg grandfather Abraham KELLOW, who seemingly was born in St Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands in 1813, baptised in Tintagel, Cornwall the same year, and eventually taken back to Jersey by the time his brother James Joseph was baptised, in, I think, 1816. He ended up for most of his life in St Peterport Guernsey, where he fathered about 9 children, one of which, James b.1854, who with his sister Lavinia, emigrated here to New Zealand in 1875 . . I would be interested if I could get in touch with any Kellow in the Tintagel area or thereabouts. Regards, Rick

red mail KELLOW family of Tintagel
My husband's ancestors came from Tintagel, Cornwall. To date, I have traced his line back to Thomas KELLOW and Bridget ROBINS who were married at Tintagel on 7 Oct 1725. Their son, William KELLOW, bap 30 Mar 1736, Tintagel, married Catharine BISHOP at Tintagel in 1759. Their son, John KELLOW, was bap 14 Apr 1774, Tintagel, but moved to Devon and married Eleanor TAPPER at Totnes in 1800. Happy to share info with other KELLOW family researchers.
red mail Longabridge just east of Tintagel
Hello, looking for the exact location of the Longabridge (Longbridge) just past Bossiney and Tintagel. According to censuses it was a location in Rocky Valley. The old Lobb or Paul cottage was there but would like to know if it still exists or was wiped out by the earthen dam constructed there after the Longbridge. Susan
