SALMON of Thetford
Seeking information on William Jennings SALMON, son of Richard SALMON. He was born in Thetford in about 1802 and became a papermaker, which may also have been his father's occupation. The family later moved south, and became managers and owners of papermills in Surrey and Kent, where William married Phoebe TERRY from Ightham. Any clues to William's date and place of birth most welcome. Many thanks.

Nugus
Looking for my Nugus ancestors who include John Samuel Nugus son of Samuel and Mary Ann Nugus (nee Lord) born in Thetford on 30 July 1851. John Samuel married Sarah Jane Day in Thetford on 10 August 1872. For some reason John Samuel lived with his uncle and aunt John Maddison and Eliza Nugus from an early age (1861 census). Any information about this line of my family would be appreciated.

Thetford - Brundles
William Brundle was born abt 1821 and he was married to Sasian / Sarah Ann according to 1881/1891 censuses. Both were stated to be born in Shropham, though Sarah Ann's was also transcribed and appeared to be North Lopham. Kilverstone is another location mentioned. One of their daighters - Elizabeth Brundle b abt 1864 married my greatgrandfather William Buckee. Another daughter appears to be Harriet E, dressmaker. Another census from 1881 gives 2 Brundle families in Bromeswell, among just 5 households. It may be that William had more than one wife and hence other children, as I cannot trace earlier records of him and Sasian/Sarah closer to teh times of Elizabeth and Harriet's births. Wondered whether anyone else knew the area / surnames!

red mail Thetford St Cuthbert
In 1841Daveney Lovett married Jane Sewell. They had two children, Mary Ann Critten Lovett and Walter Lovett. In 1851 Daveney is listed in Norwich as a bricklayer whilst Jane and the children are still in Thetford seeming living with her sister Mary Ann who married a William Stearne. After that Daveney seems to abandon Jane turning up in Stoke Newington in 1871. No sighting is made of him for the 20 intervening years. Does anyone know anything about any of these families to help solve the puzzle?
