red mail Thorne Family
I am currently researching my Grandfather Beresford Cazenove Thorne 1901-1988 he was the second child of Alice Ann Elizabeth Garner/thorne and Fleet Engineer Charles William Thorne who apparently lived in St Germans. The first born son was Leslie Vivian Thorne who married Amy Cousins but died in the second world war and was buried in Egypt, they had 2 daughter June and patricia. I haven't been able to trace what happened to the family of Leslie Thorne. If anyone could help I would be grateful. Thank you.

red mail Stribling
The earliest family member to be verified so far is William Stribling, born in St Germans in 1852, and married to Amelia (nee Barrett). His parents were George Stribling and Grace (previously Hooper, nee Clements).
red mail Bonney, Pengelly
My grandfather, SAMUEL ROBERT BONNEY, was born in St Germans in 1858. His Parents were EDWIN and JANE nee SARGENT. In various branches of our family the name PENGELLY has been given as a second or third christian name but, as yet, I have been unable to trace a connection. Other family connections include the names Hoar, Blight, Hawking, Keast,Barnacle and Lord.
red mail The Riddles of St Germans
The 1841 census states that Nicholas & Anne Riddle and family were living in St. Germans. One of their children, Elizabeth, who was 15 at the time (born in Redruth) eventually emigrated to Australia, marrying in 1850 in Adelaide. Any information as to when she actually left, the ship she sailed on, and who she travelled with (if anybody) would be greatly appreciated.
red mail Sammells or Samels
Looking for Harriet Maria Sammells or Samels. I believe she was born in Antony, Cornwall c1834. She married William Henry West in 1855. He was in the Royal Navy on board HMS Vengeance at the time. Harriet's father was John an ag lab. Any info for Harriet's family would be useful. I found Harriet in the 1861 census under Samuel. Her name was definitely Sammels. I believe that Harriet's grandfather married in to the Bastard family.
red mail Cox
William COX of St Germans married Jane of Pelynt. They had Lewis, Letitia and Alvarez. I'm interested in Williams parents and Janes maiden name.
red mail Hawke Family - St. Germans
