red mail Abbey Walk
I wonder if anyone can give me any historical information about this road in Shaftesbury. My ggrandfather George Webber was living in Abbey Walk at the time of the 1881 census. After that I can find no mention of him or his wife Mary Ann nee Cole. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
red mail Soul
I am researching the SOUL family that lived in Shaftesbury around 1870 - 1900.
red mail Cass/Case Family Shaftesbury
Charles and Caroline Cass (married Shaftesbury in 1836) had the following children: Sarah, Thirza, Charles, John, James, Mary and Harry. James and John moved to Portsmouth circa 1871 and I am descendent from James. I would like to trace any otherdescendents from the other children of Charles and Caroline Cass. I know Sarah married George Atkins, Charles married Elizabeth Jenkins, Mary married Eli Brickell and Harry married Elizabeth Andrews. Any contacts of these would be great. The surname was spelt variously as Cass or Case. Most of the above mentioned went onto have large families.
