red mail Ker or Darling-Ker of
Does anyone have any information about a family who lived at "The Beeches" in Beech Avenue, Sanderstead, Surrey during the First World-War? Thomas Ker had worked in India for the Public Works Department his wife's name was Martha They are both buried in Sanderstead churchyard. They had at least one son Thomas Darling Ker who,sad to say was killed in Salonika in 1916 aged 22 years. I think the family was descended from Capt. Charles Thomas Darling-Ker 78th Highlanders who married in1846 Eliza Tripp daughter of Rev. Dr. Charles Tripp Rector of Silverton in Devons. Absolutely any information however small would be hugely appreciated
