Salisbury, Sarum Wiltshire
Old form, Sarum. Salisbury dates from the beginning of the 13th century, when the see was transferred from Old Sarum to New Sarum. The cathedral, begun in 1220, was completed in 1258.

Search for Samuel Fenton. Can anybody help me with a link to Samuel Fenton (gt gt gt grandfather). His occupation was Inn Keeper c1838 in the County of Dorset or Wiltshire. The only firm details I have of him are on his daughter Elizabeth’s (gt gt grandmother) wedding certificate. Elizabeth married George Fox in Minterne Magna Parish Church in October 1838.
