Salisbury, Sarum Wiltshire
Old form, Sarum. Salisbury dates from the beginning of the 13th century, when the see was transferred from Old Sarum to New Sarum. The cathedral, begun in 1220, was completed in 1258.

One of these sons had a daughter Wendy who I met when visiting our Aunt Lucy in Eastleigh during the war.Can anybody give any information on this family.
